This website has been developed as a part of a project for Prof. Jay Newell’s Advertising Effectiveness Seminar, JLMC 598A, a graduate course in the Fall 2007 semester at the Greenlee School of Journalism and Mass Communicationat Iowa State University, in Ames, Iowa. The purpose of this project is to explore the effectiveness of the political bumper sticker as a campaign tool in the internet age, to share the history of the campaign bumper sticker as an advertising medium, and to stimulate some healthy discussion about politics and the political issues of our day.
